A little x-mas reindeer

Merry christmas to all!
I apologize for the lack of activity both here at the blog and at the store as well. As so often, life has been really busy for me in various ways since summer. Hopefully things will look up with the beginning of next year, and I can return to spreading a bit more cuteness around me. (^.~)

For now though, all I can offer is this little winter reindeer lineart. Please use it if you like it, for colouring, scrapbooking or however you like. You don't have to ask for permission before using it, but I'd be really happy if you'd credit me in some way and show me the result. ^^

Cupcake Princess

Started practicing using water colour pencils a while ago, and finally finished off this piece.

I'm not very experienced with using them, or regular water colours, but this is defineately my best attempt at least. I'll keep practicing. It was fun, but really demanding of patience - something I guess I should get better at as well. ^_~

Kawaii Wallpapers

My current wallpaper is one of my all-time favorites!

It's tiled to fit, but I don't think it matters. Nyan Nyan Nyanko are always cute, but this pic must be the cutest ever. I've actually been thinking of having either the banana one or the purple (is it plum or blueberries...? Or what?) as my next tattoo maybe. We'll see, I'll have to think it over some more. ^^

Sprinkles Orange

The latest addition to the dessert girls line is the spunky Sprinkles Orange!
When sketching her I called her Sprinkles Lemon, but when adding up the girls so far I changed my mind to orange (and some lime and lemon is in there too) so the lineup wouldn't have too much yellow.

The quality isn't the best unfortunately, but it's all that my computer can handle right now. Hopefully future videos can be in higher quality when I have a new computer (or upgraded my current one)

Paperdolls

In my movie shelf!
I decided to make some paperdoll versions of the dessert girls for the convention NärCon here in Linköping, Sweden this weekend (I'm writing this a bit before the con, but the post will be up while I'm there)
They came out pretty well, I think, and really brighten up a work place or windowsill.
I hope people will like them at NärCon, they were actually kind of a pain to cut out. :P
Oh well, I have two more girls to cut out today so I'd better get to it!

New in the shop is this shoulder bag with the "Harmony Senshi Unicorn" design. This picture does not do it justice, as it comes in a lovely sparkling rainbow foil (picture will be up ASAP!)

A cute little purse I bought some time ago at H&M here in Sweden. Of course (as you might've picked up) I'm a sucker for strawberries, and I really like the heart shaped sewing pattern.

Miss Kika Iphone Cases

I am a fan of the wonderful Miss Kika.
Anyone who hasn't checked out her designs should do so right now, because she is awesome!

I'm still on my quest of finding the perfect Iphone case, and these two are really good candidates so far. But which one to choose? :S
The "Candy Necklace" one is so swirly and lovely, plus the colours are a bit "fairy-kei" which I'm really into right now. But the "Cry baby" one has my all-time favorite colour blue on it (and such a nice shade!) and I like the focus on her face.
 Well, I think it'll take some more time before I come up with a decision, perhaps I'll just buy a new mouse mat for the time being?

Thunder...! Thunder...! Thunder...!

Thundercats! Hoooo!!!
I used to watch Thundercats when I was little, but I couldn't remember much of the show other than that I thought it was awesome! Right now me and my darling are watching through the whole series from '85. We've soon completed the first season. The idea is that we'll watch through the old series before watching the new one, but I'm starting to think maybe it's not such a good idea after all. I really love the old Thundercats, and since they've changed quite a lot in the new series (Tygra is Lion-o's brother? O_o) maybe I can't keep myself from constantly comparing it.
My impression so far is that the new series will be quite good, providing comparisons aren't made with how things were in the old one, so I'll try to just bite my lip when watchinig it, I guess. :P

Egg kitty!

My cute little egg kitty hiding in my marker shelf. This cutie makes two meowing sounds; an upset one if he is tilted, and a loving(/sad) one if he is held inside your hand.
This one, and several other versions of him, can be bought at Strapya World, one of my favorite shoping sites. :3

Strawberry Tea (again!)

I just love this silicon strawberry tea strainer! It's awesomely cute, and unlke some others I have this one is easy to clean out as well. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes the leaves leak out of the holes of it, but that won't stop me from using it.
I've seen a lemon version too, which I might buy as well.
I bought this one at Åhléns in Sweden.

Sculpey elf

I'm not much of a sculptor, but I tried out experimenting some with Super Sculpey a couple of years ago. I think this was my best result (it's the only one I've kept anyway, haha)

It's supposed to be my elven roleplay character Eliriel, basking in sun a bit.
I really admire those who can sculpt, it really required patience. More than I have anyway. :P
 Maybe I'll try it some other time, provided it's relatively easy and fast to do, otherwise there's a good chance I go into rage mode halfway through. ;P

Macaron Wallpaper

I recently changed the background for this blog to a wallpaper of my own design, and I thought I'd share the file here if there's anyone interested. ^^

I've only eaten macarons once or twice, I think, and they're pretty good. They're not my absolute favorites, but they're tasty alright. When it comes to macarons as design elements however, I squee in delight whenever I see them! They're just so elegantly simple and pretty!
Before I did the wallpaper, I made this macaron t-shirt design.

Right now I'm sketching what will later become the macaron girl in the "dessert girls" line. I'm aiming for cute and elegant, so I think maybe she will be a ballerina. ^.^

Today I treated myself to a strawberry cupcake at Coffeehouse by George. I've been awfully tired today so I guess I was in need of a "pick-me-up" of some kind. :P
Right now I'm working on what will be my profile picture for this blog. I've had some different ideas for the design, but now I've finally settled on one. Hopefully it will be up in a day or two.

Strawberry Delight

My darling and I went to a café today where I had a piece of lovely strawberry cheese cake, along with a cup of strawberry tea, which of course made me think of my friend's webshop with handmade lolita clothing and accessories, aptly named Strawberry Tea Party. :P 
Strawberries is one of my favorite things about summer. Here in Sweden it's tradition to eat fresh strawberries with cream (whipped or in liquid form, it varies) at midsummer. Of course, I often end up eating them the whole season through. ^^


Since the theme is already set for today's post, let's continue with a sketch of...

Strawberry Delight

She was the second dessert-themed girl I made. (Ugh, my sketches are so messy. >.<) She is featured on the newest products in the Oh Mai Gaa!! Zazzle shop, for example iphone and ipad cases.
Speaking of which, I need an iphone case myself. I got my iphone in january and haven't gotten a case for it yet so it gets hit and dropped every now and then (to the ever increasing horror of its owner)
A dessert-themed iphone would certainly go well with one of these  Iphone button stickers. A really cute idea, I hope I get to see more versions of these.

Hello and welcome to Oh Mai Gaa!!
I hope this blog will be a fun place to revisit every now and then.
Right now I'm busy preparing for NärCon, a manga/game convention here in Sweden, which will be held in Linköping 4-7 august. It will be the first real debut for Oh Mai Gaa!! as a brand and it's real fun and exciting preparing for it.

One of the very first designs for Oh Mai Gaa!! (maybe I should write OMG for short?) was my Cupcake Girl. She was the beginning of what is now becoming a whole series of little dessert girls. I thought it might be fun to see some of the sketches for them here in the blog, so let's start with Cupcake for now.
